0-Tyrannosaurus Rex: King of the Rumbling Spires HD

Alt. Ending for what was be the last Tyrannosaurus Rex Single to feature Steve Peregrin Took, when the duo were going a more more "heavy" and had already ventured into Electric Guitar with Took playing Bass.

Tony Visconti on Steve Took

Tony Visconti talking about Steve Took in Tyrannosaurus Rex. Highly Recommended. Some lovely quotes from Tony! Rock On Tookie Yeah!

Steve Took: Peppermint Flickstick

Blistering Version of the song 'Peppermint Flickstick'  played at the correct speed with a video inspired by both the lyrics and by what Took himself said the song was about. Inspired by the Flake Adverts. Peppermint Flickstick is a song about a man who sees the TV advert for the girl eating her  'Peppermint Flickstick' and spends all his money buying them so he can sit at home and fantasise about the TV ads.

Account of Steve Took live supporting the MC5

Here you can find out the first of the information on the *other* Steve Peregrin Took, while he was in the Margate/Canterbury area, far away from London and his heavy drug using friends there. *
We are delighted to be able to include a video - audio and static image - of a Steve Took gig in Canterbury where he supported The MC5. They received a review of Two Stars, while Steve Took received a review of Four Stars!

* Some of these friends and their liggers are those who when approached about Steve Took asked why anyone would want to write a book about him? Apart from the obvious - "He got to Number One in the Album Charts and into the Top Ten singles chart as one crucial half of the duo Tyrannosaurus Rex" It is input such as that provided by his girlfriends and other people who knew the Real Steve Took who make him more than worthy of a Biography - and maybe even more than one.

How to find Steve Took's Grave

This is a drive around Kensal Green showing the route to take from the entrance by the Crematorium entrance. As you can see you can drive, rather than walk and as long as you park out of the way of others it is perfectly OK to drive round and Park. The last section of the video shows the walk from the site where you should turn off the graveled drive onto the grass 'path'. The map of the site is quite misleading, because it gives the impression that the path to Steve Peregrin Took's Grave is a proper marked, possibly graveled path. It is not. It is simply a grass walk way which is wide enough to walk among by the side of the graves. For More information on Steve Peregrin Took visit his web site - address at the end of the video.
